The Educational Media Center functions as a vital instrument as well as a basic requirement for quality education by enriching all parts of the school’s educational process.
A center for recreational reading, viewing and listening. It provides a variety of recreational materials to fulfill the current needs of the range of interest and abilities for the studentry ; it provides assistance to students in the selection of these materials; it provides facilities for individual and group uses; it is concerned about the reluctant readers as well as the habitual one; it uses a variety of promotional techniques to encourage use of material for recreational purposes.

Constructivists view assessment as a process that involves both the instructor and the student. Educators who prefer to use constructivist methods and principles in evaluating student work have several different avenues to choose from that can help enhance the learning experience of students.
The learner must be allowed to construct their own understanding. The educator will contribute towards the development of the learner's higher cognitive skill.

Project-based learning is a model which distinguishes from traditional teaching since the focus is put on the learner and his project. Learners have the opportunity to work more autonomously and build their knowledge.
In effective project-based learning it should have a clarifying goals and objectives. And have much time consuming in making decision involve with the students. It is also important with this is the material to be use is available. And the students should know the technology using.
This  project allows learners to identify and formulate their own problems. The goals they set as well as the unexpected discoveries they will make during their interaction with the environment serve as guides

Ahmm..I don't understand fully in this chapter. But as I research in the net, this is the definition.By project-based learning, we mean a teaching method in which students acquire new knowledge and skills in the course of designing, planning, and producing some product or performance. By multimedia, we mean the integration of media objects such as text, graphics, video, animation, and sound to represent and convey information. Project-based multimedia learning is a method of teaching in which students acquire new knowledge and skills in the course of designing, planning, and producing a multimedia product.
What I understand  in this chapter is the teacher should know how to teach his/her learner using the technology. And he/she should be creative enough in teaching. These presentations will include evidence that your students have mastered key concepts and processes you need to teach and will be a source of great pride for them and for you.

Well, projector and chalkboard is the same educational technology. They are both visual aid using in  teaching.Projector is a new educational technology uses as a visual aid for teaching. While the chalkboard is old fashioned visual aid but still using now.

The overhead projector has a lot of advantages compared to other teaching aid. A teacher can use projector the same way using the chalkboard, but the advantage their in using projector, the teacher can  get to face the whole class and maintain eye contact all times with their students instead of having to turn around and write. As a teacher, you would know that eye contact plays a big role in teaching.
In using chalkboard also have advantages.Using chalkboards in teaching improves teaching effectiveness, classroom management and student academic success.Writing on a chalkboard makes it easier to control the pace of a lecture because it encourages writing while talking---a task that requires instruction at a moderate speed.

Symbols provide a visual representation of an idea or word. Children who find difficulty in reading can be helped to visualize the meanings of words by seeing a symbol.
Symbols can give these children a voice to express themselves when words fail them.Symbols can help a student to learn and recall information. Symbols can help to remind students of a concept. The symbol itself cannot teach the concept, but once a concept has been understood, symbols can reinforce that understanding and help make the comprehension more permanent.

By using film, video and TV in the classroom the learner can show abstract ideas or far-away places not accessible to students. It can also motivating and exciting to students, taping into emotions and senses. It can provides enrichment for visual and auditory learners.
With technology moving at the pace that it is today, video will continue to be an important part in our educational system. With thoughtful planning, instruction and application, videos can promote interactive learning. In using videos to promote student curiosity, speculation and intellectual engagement, teachers can enhance the overall learning experience for his or her students.

A field trip is an option for schools to expand their students' learning experience. It give teachers a chance to conduct a lesson without the limitation of a classroom.Field trips also designed to support a student's classroom learning experience. It is an ideal place to allow the student to see real-life applications of academic lessons.
Field trips put the students back into the community to see the value of their learning.

In demonstration as a teaching-learning experience you have to make yourself  feel at ease, sincere and interesting to get the attention of the learner.
Teaching strategy is emphasized in a demonstration to make it more effective..

LB#9

In teaching with dramatized experiences is very much important to the learner.Because by using this way of learning it will help to develop the learner's different abilities.Through dramatized experience we can expect the students more action, interest, and their attention. This is more on students participation, even the weak students can also participate.

I learned that in teaching-learning process, teacher should not focus on theories/discussions only. Teachers should give his/her students activities/games so that their different skills will be develop.

Through giving a problem/situations to the students, the students will have a group discussions. Each of them should participate through sharing their own ideas in order to develop their different attitudes and behavior.

In this topic i learned on how to make teaching more effective.Through our direct experiences it can help to the teacher on how to teach more effective. Like for example, when the teacher attending trainings and seminars...and what the teacher learned from the seminars he/she was attended, he/she can apply it to his/her students...to make teaching-learning more effective teacher should choose topics/activities to get the interest of the student.
How I apply what I learned?
I will let  my student how to discover things by their own. By giving them a task in order to develop their thinking skills. And I will use real objects as my teaching aids so that the students can easily understand the topics.I will also give an interesting activity that related to the topic so that the students will be more interested the topic that being discuss from the teacher. I will understand and adjust the individual differences of the students because they have different family backgrounds. Focus the attention most on weak students so that the weak student will get the lesson interested.
